50 Illegal Immigrants Linked To ISIS Are Missing In US, Senator Reveals

Sen. Jim Banks (R-IN) has revealed alarming news that 50 illegal immigrants smuggled into the United States by ISIS-affiliated networks are unaccounted for. The announcement comes amid heightened fears following deadly terror attacks in New Orleans and Las Vegas.

Banks, speaking during a Sunday interview, noted that the Department of Homeland Security reported 400 ISIS-linked individuals were smuggled across the southern border last year. “We don’t know who they are or where they are,” Banks warned, describing the situation as a significant national security threat.

The senator pointed to the Biden administration’s lax border policies as a contributing factor, suggesting that the lack of enforcement allowed terrorists to enter the country undetected. He expressed confidence in the incoming Trump administration to prioritize border security.

Highlighting Trump’s first-term efforts in defeating ISIS, Banks also praised nominees Kash Patel and Pete Hegseth for their commitment to reshaping intelligence operations. “They will realign priorities to ensure America’s safety,” Banks said.

The warning coincides with investigations into recent attacks. In New Orleans, a truck attack during New Year’s Eve celebrations killed 14 people, while a coordinated assault in Las Vegas left numerous victims in what officials attribute to ISIS-inspired individuals.

Efforts are underway to locate the missing individuals as the nation grapples with the ongoing threat of terrorism.
