Comer Urges DOJ To Delay Hunter Biden Indictment

House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer (R-KY) is urging the Department of Justice (DOJ) not to indict President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, until after Wednesday — announcing that he has uncovered additional evidence against the Biden family.

In an appearance on Fox News with Maria Bartiromo on Sunday, Comer revealed that he has obtained bank records that document a pay-to-play bribery scheme involving the Biden family.

“My message to the Department of Justice is very loud and clear. Do not indict Hunter Biden before Wednesday,” the Republican congressman said.

He went on to point out that Biden’s IRS and DOJ likely haven’t looked as deeply into the case against the Biden family — alluding to reports that federal agencies have been politicized and weaponized in favor of the political establishment, especially the Biden family.

“We believe there are a whole lot of tips that the IRS and the DOJ don’t know about because we don’t believe they’ve done a whole lot of digging in this, and we have,” Comer said.

Meanwhile, the president and his son have both denied all allegations against them, claiming that they have done nothing wrong in their long history of foreign business dealings. Biden has previously stated on multiple occasions that he had nothing to do with his son’s business deals, but evidence unearthed in recent months has disputed those claims.

One such piece of evidence was made public last week after Comer revealed that an FBI whistleblower had filed a confidential human source report about a pay-to-play bribery scheme involving then-Vice President Joe Biden. The Oversight Committee has since issued a subpoena to the FBI for that document.

According to Comer, the payments to Biden were likely routed to a web of limited liability corporations (LLCs) “in exchange for something that then-Vice President Biden and now President Biden would have done. So this whistleblower is going to provide some very crucial information to our investigation.”

“More and more evidence is pointing towards Joe Biden,” he added. “Obviously, Joe Biden was involved in all this despite the fact that he lied to the American people, despite the fact that his press secretary continues to lie about it.”

Comer plans to release a report on Wednesday that will describe how the Biden family received money from many more countries than was previously reported, and will reveal that many more Biden family members have benefited from Joe Biden’s political career than previously thought.

“We’re going to produce an additional five Biden family members, more countries, more LLCs, more bank accounts,” Comer explained. “This thing is much bigger than anyone would have ever predicted, and it all points towards Joe Biden.”
