Fauci’s Farewell Message: Get Vaxxed, Wear Masks On Thanksgiving

In his final appearance at the White House before retirement, outgoing chief medical adviser to the president Dr. Anthony Fauci lectured Americans about COVID risks surrounding the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday.

Before the top bureaucrat departs to most likely earn boatloads of money on books and movie appearances, Fauci decided to speak at a press briefing at the White House on Tuesday to encourage all Americans to get the latest COVID booster, wear a mask, social distance, take a COVID test and continue trusting the “experts.”

“First of all, everybody should be vaccinated and boosted with flu and with COVID,” he told reporters. “So when we’re gathering at a family gathering for Thanksgiving or for Christmas … it makes sense that you might want to get a test that day before you come into a place, in which you might be infected and spread it.”

“You can count masking, boosting, testing as part of the spectrum of protecting yourself,” Fauci added.

He went on to assert that there is no reason to feel shame for wearing a mask when most people have long since stopped doing so.

“I mean, it shouldn’t be. I know sometimes when you walk in, and you have a mask and nobody else has a mask, you kind of feel guilty. You shouldn’t feel guilty. You look terrific,” Fauci said.

“So my message and my final message — maybe the final message I give you from this podium — is that please, for your own safety, for that of your family, get your updated COVID-19 shot as soon as you’re eligible to protect yourself, your family, and your community. Please do it as soon as possible,” Fauci concluded.

The top bureaucrat then left the room, scrambling to avoid difficult questions from Daily Caller reporter Diana Glebova — who was then scolded and shouted at by White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre for daring to try to question Fauci about the origins of COVID.

Of course, Fauci avoided addressing the serious issues that arose thanks to his advice during the pandemic — including learning loss and other developmental delays that are plaguing American children due to mask mandates and other restrictions.

Not to mention the countless times that Fauci contradicted his own advice throughout the pandemic. The Daily Wire notes: “Here are just eight times that he changed the narrative — and this article was made in the summer of 2020.”
