Glenn Beck Wears ‘MAGA’ Hat After Trump Indictment

BlazeTV host Glenn Beck wore a MAGA hat during an interview with Fox News host Tucker Carlson, discussing the indictment of former President Donald Trump by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg.

Trump’s indictment comes after Bragg investigated alleged hush money payments the former president made to adult film actress Stormy Daniels during the 2016 election. Trump is facing over 30 counts related to business fraud, according to CNN

Beck suggested that Trump has served as a symbol of the average American.

“He is a symbol of the average, everyday guy that keeps getting screwed every single time. Watches other people screw up big banks, screw up their companies, and get away with it.” Beck continued, “They see people all the time doing stuff that they know if they did they’d be in prison for 20 years,” he said.

Beck argued that Trump “has taken arrow after arrow,” and proceeded to place a “MAGA” hat on his head, saying, “this is the way the average American feels tonight.”

He declared that many Americans “will walk on broken glass” and fire to vote for someone other than the Biden administration.

Beck said he believed Trump’s indictment is an attempt to “inflame” the U.S., suggesting that the desire is for Republicans to commit violence, but he urged people to “turn to God, repent, pray for our country, pray for peace, [and] put on the full armor of God.”

He predicted that by 2025, the U.S. will be at war, experience an economic collapse, and have a “virtual police state.”

In a statement, a spokesperson for Bragg’s office said, “This evening we contacted Mr. Trump’s attorney to coordinate his surrender to the Manhattan D.A.’s Office for arraignment on a Supreme Court indictment, which remains under seal. Guidance will be provided when the arraignment date is selected.”

Trump’s attorneys, Susan Necheles and Joseph Tacopina asserted Trump’s innocence and argued that he “did not commit any crime.”

On Truth Social, Trump called the indictment “political persecution” and “an attack on our country.” “They are trying to impact an election,” he added.

Trump is currently the frontrunner for the 2024 GOP presidential nomination. He is now the first former president to face criminal charges, which have not been released.
