Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry (R-LA) announced plans to fly a Make America Great Again (MAGA) flag at the Governor’s Mansion on January 20 in honor of President-elect Donald Trump’s inauguration. Landry shared the news on social media Friday, calling on supporters across the state to join him in this symbolic gesture.
“BREAKING: Governor Landry to fly Make America Great Again flag at Louisiana Governor’s Mansion on Jan. 20 in honor of the Inauguration of President Donald J. Trump,” Landry posted. He also encouraged Louisianans to proudly display their MAGA flags at home.
Landry’s announcement underscores strong Republican support for Trump throughout Louisiana. His decision to publicly celebrate Trump’s return to the White House highlights the state’s alignment with Trump’s policies and leadership.
Elon Musk was right about what MAGA represents. This is nothing more than a Confederate Flag.
Jeff can keep playing these games and he will invoke this well-deserved, statewide strike–sooner than later.
MAGA DOES NOT CARRY THIS STATE.

This move follows House Speaker Mike Johnson’s (R-LA) decision to keep American flags at full staff at the U.S. Capitol during Trump’s inauguration. President Joe Biden had ordered flags to be lowered to half-staff in remembrance of former President Jimmy Carter, but Johnson delayed the action until January 21.
“On January 20th, the flags at the Capitol will fly at full-staff to celebrate our country coming together behind the inauguration of our 47th President, Donald Trump,” Johnson stated. He confirmed that the flags would return to half-staff the following day to continue honoring Carter.
Love it!!
