Harris, Eisen And Clinton Blocked From Viewing Sensitive Government Intelligence

Kamala Harris, Hillary Clinton and former impeachment counsel Norman Eisen are among a long list of individuals no longer authorized to access U.S. classified information. President Donald Trump issued the directive as part of a national security effort to remove those deemed hostile to American interests from the intelligence loop.

The presidential memo orders that each person on the list be denied access not only to documents and briefings, but also to secure government facilities. It includes figures from the Biden administration, high-level prosecutors and former congressional investigators.

Joe Biden and members of his family were named alongside former Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Jake Sullivan, Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger, Lisa Monaco, Fiona Hill and Alexander Vindman. New York officials Alvin Bragg and Letitia James were also included.

Legal operatives involved in cases and investigations targeting Trump were not spared. Eisen was joined by Andrew Weissman and Mark Zaid, both of whom played roles in previous inquiries into the Trump administration.

Private employers are also required to be informed if any of the individuals held classified access through corporate or nonprofit roles. Trump’s order makes clear that no route to intelligence remains open for those listed, regardless of their professional position.

The White House cited concerns about leaks and influence from officials who had previously acted against the administration’s interests. Trump previously stated that Biden set a precedent when he revoked his intelligence access after leaving office.

Gabbard, who oversees national intelligence, had already removed clearances from several of those named. Her office acted earlier in the month to revoke access for those tied to past impeachment proceedings, legal investigations and the Hunter Biden laptop controversy.
