Joe Biden’s Most Recent Gaffe Is Even Better Than The ‘Clean And Articulate’ Remark

Some people, like President Donald Trump, are living memes. Others, like President Joe Biden, are living gaffe machines. Sure Donald Trump has made his share of viral remarks, but he is witty jokes, and he knows what he’s doing. Biden stumbles into saying some hilariously wild statements that don’t sound so good to anyone and don’t help his cause.

Most infamously of all, when past Senator Barack Obama joined the field of candidates for the 2008 Democratic presidential nomination, Joe Biden tried so hard not to be racist that he ended up being very racist when he said, “I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that’s a storybook, man.”

Just rereading it sends chills of cringe up my spine. How did someone who uttered something like that possibly win the Democratic nomination and then the presidential election in 2020, the year of the hashtag Black Lives Matter, All Cops Are Bad, and Defund The Police?

You know-how: The corporate press and the Democratic Party is how. They won’t let any principles or consistency stand in the way of laying their hands on more power. The fact that they can get the populace to embrace so many hideous absurdities is probably frosting on the cake for the elites. It’s an aesthetic flourish that makes what they do more fun for them.

They are turning Americans against each other, stealing trillions of dollars from the economy, and destroying our freedoms, and they think it’s hilarious.

Well, it’s our turn to laugh, if only for a moment. Because Joe Biden made such a deliciously awkward gaffe during a recent trip to Connecticut on Friday, that it feels like Halloween came early. This one is a real treat.

While trying to honor longtime Connecticut senator Chris Dodd, Joe Biden said Dodd isn’t like “people who tell me they care about people and then disrespect the waitress or a waiter.”

The only problem with that is, back in 1990, GQ reported an incident at a restaurant in Washington DC that Dodd and his Senate colleague, the late Ted Kennedy (D-MA), liked to frequent. Workers there said the duo would drink heavily there until two or three in the morning and barely be able to stand up when it was time to leave.

The incident that made headlines? Ted Kennedy called for the waitress, and when she arrived, grabbed her, forced her onto Dodd’s lap, and then laid on top of her and thrust his pelvis at her. Her screams brought other employees to the room, and she jumped up and ran out.

Neither Kennedy nor Dodd faced any consequences for physically assaulting those waitresses. There were witnesses, and it happened in public. But the corporate press just laughed it off with this joke: Haha, it’s like they made a “waitress sandwich.”

Thanks for reminding everybody, Joe, what a bunch of criminal bullies you and your friends are.
