Vice President Kamala Harris said that January 6 is a day that will live on in infamy. When she compared it to December 7, 1942, when Japan attacked Pearl Harbor, and September 11, 2001, when radical Islamic terrorists attacked the World Trade Towers and the Pentagon, she showed everyone how clueless she was.
Joe Biden will not last until the end of his four-year term. Kamala Harris was explicitly selected because she could not get elected. Still, she could be installed as President of the United States when Biden is no longer in the office for any reason. She is chomping at the bit to get her shot at the oval office.
Her statements were at least as over the top as any other idiotic statement she’s made, maybe more so. A mob in the Capitol Hill building was not an act of war. Guns were not fired, bombs were not exploded, and governments were not toppled.
Specific dates reverberate in history. January 6, 2021, is not one of them. Dates such as the assassination of Kennedy and the Moon landing are significant. Attacks on our homeland were dates when all who survived knew where they were and what they were doing. Democracy was not under attack on January 6, 2021. The fact that she has the sheer gall to make these comparisons demonstrates her willingness to say and do anything that will inflame political contention and anger.
Harris foolishly linked December 7, 1941, September 11, 2001, and January 6, 2021. She thinks that when fanatics meandered in the lobby of the capital, some smashed windows, and doors one person, Ashli Babbitt, was shot and killed in cold blood, was annihilating the structure and attacking the foundations, the qualities, the beliefs that Americans have walked, picketed, and shed blood to build up and safeguard.
Harris asserted that the uproar showed how fragile our democratic system is. Well, she neglected to acknowledge that we live in a Constitutional Republic until Democrats can destroy it. The United States is already on the verge of collapse. We have not been cautious or safeguarding it. Our system of government won’t stand. It will waver, and it will fizzle out if elected officials can override the people’s will and do whatever they please.
As Harris claimed, attempts to Stop the Steal were not organized by powers who tried to destroy our government. She claimed that the disorder, brutality, and bedlam meant that our future under the Constitution was threatened, even as Democrats have been promoting an anti-Constitutional political movement for decades.
She praised the Capitol Police for defending the nation from the fierce attack that interfered with Congress. We should not link what police officers did on January 6 with what first responders did on September 11 or December 7, two occasions when our enemies killed a massive number of Americans and prompted battles all over the planet.
World War II veterans know what a simple assault is, and that was not one. When did Harris call out the riots and arson in a major US city, Minneapolis? She did not. She endorsed it. Kamala Harris assisted criminals in funding their activities with bail money.
On 9/11, 2,977 people died. At Pearl Harbor, 2,403 Americans died, and 1,178 were injured. On January 6, Ashli Babbitt was killed by a bumbling Capitol Hill police officer. The Pearl Harbor assault by Japanese strikes from 420 Kamikaze suicide bombers in Honolulu, Hawaii, such six ships damaged 16 ships, destroyed 169 planes and damaged 159, and instigated our formal participation in a World War. As a result of 9/11, the US entered a prolonged foreign war in Iraq and Afghanistan where 7,052 militaries I and 8,189 civilians were killed in the savagery of post-9/11 conflicts in Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iraq, Syria, and Yemen. The Pentagon spent $14 trillion, and the economic, health and psychological costs exceed that amount many times over.
White House spokesperson and spin-mistress Circle Back Jen Psaki noted that in 1861 no Confederate banners were being waved in the Capitol. She said that no individuals were raging our country’s Capitol building during the Civil War or attempting to assume control or attack the speaker of the House. No, Jen, if you want to compare the cold Civil War to the hot Civil War, look at the body count. Over 1 million people died because of our national internal strife. Instead of protests, men were fighting and dying in fields. What is she talking about?
Kamala Harris thinks that she and the liberal media can tell the American public that political brutality prevents election theft. The Washington Post notes that 34% of Americans currently accept that viciousness against the government can be defended under desperate conditions. It ought to be 100%. Americans educated in the Declaration of Independence should be familiar with the right and obligation to rebel against an overbearing system and set up another government. That is who we are.
