Melania Trump has revealed that her son, Barron, was denied a bank account due to their family’s political ties. In her biography Melania, released this week, the former First Lady shared how she and Barron faced the consequences of “cancel culture” after Donald Trump’s first term in office.
Melania explained that shortly after January 6, her long-time bank not only closed her account but also refused to open a new account for Barron. She expressed concern over what she called political discrimination, stating that it raises questions about potential civil rights violations.
Shameful 😠

The former First Lady also noted that the political climate has impacted her professional endeavors. A private equity group that had been backing one of her media projects abruptly ended its involvement, citing personal hostility toward her husband.
Additionally, Melania discussed her “Fostering the Future” scholarship program, created to support foster children. She described how a tech-education company severed its ties with the program after becoming aware of her involvement, despite her willingness to remain publicly detached from the initiative.

Despite these obstacles, Melania shared that Barron is doing well in college. He began attending New York University’s Stern School of Business in September. In an interview on Fox News, she expressed pride in her son’s achievements and noted that he is thriving despite the challenges posed by political opposition.
Melania had her bank account closed and Barron was denied the right to open one because their name is Trump. I hope she names and shames and sues the bank. https://t.co/pyw897yvqm
