Lots of items in this home left behind by federal investigators that should currently be in an FBI analysis lab or evidence room. Absolutely bizarre. https://t.co/9AOCBrL9eU

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA) stated that the FBI is “trying to catch the other bad guys,” while Louisiana Gov. Jeff Landry confirmed the suspects are actively being pursued. Investigators have highlighted the potential threat posed by the broader cell.
Agents searched the home of Jabbar’s ex-wife, whose current husband reported that Jabbar became increasingly unstable during his conversion to Islam. Authorities are examining potential links between Jabbar and ISIS operatives.
The FBI Hostage Rescue Team is now involved, with flight tracker data showing the unit’s aircraft headed to New Orleans to assist in the search for additional suspects.
