Robert F. Kennedy Jr., running as an independent after leaving the Democratic race, has strongly criticized Vice President Kamala Harris. He accuses her and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) of hiding President Joe Biden’s health problems from the public.
This follows Biden’s recent decision to withdraw from the re-election campaign.
Kennedy said, “Over a year ago, I predicted that President Biden had a degenerative condition that would make it impossible for him to govern effectively.” He accused the DNC of manipulating the nomination process to protect Biden and keep his health issues hidden.
Kennedy also took aim at Harris’s foreign policy stance, labeling her a “war hawk.” He stated, “Kamala Harris is a war hawk on Ukraine, she’s a war hawk on China. We should be finding ways to coexist with the world, not provoking conflicts.”
He criticized Harris’s approach to domestic issues as well. “She’s not going to address the national deficit. I’ve never heard her talk about the chronic disease epidemic,” Kennedy said. “She represents the corporate control of our democracy.” He also attacked her civil rights record, calling it one of the worst among public officials.
Dave Rubin, host of “The Rubin Report,” echoed Kennedy’s sentiments, suggesting that RFK Jr. would have been a better candidate for the Democrats. “Imagine if the Democrat Party had chosen him instead of going in the direction they did,” Rubin said. He urged disillusioned Democrats to consider supporting Kennedy. “I think he will attract more voters than Kamala or any other Democrat candidate,” Rubin added.
As Harris prepares to lead the Democratic ticket, she faces substantial criticism from within her own party. Kennedy’s pointed remarks highlight the growing dissatisfaction with the current administration’s transparency and policies.
