The Left is Learning Its go-to tactics are beginning to fail

Washington Post “reporter” Taylor Lorenz — who is 43 but self-identifies as a 30-year-old — published an article this week that doxed the person behind the Twitter account Libs of TikTok. The creator of the account simply finds TikTok videos of insane leftists and retweets their content without commentary. The videos speak for themselves.

This strategy has not only exposed the lunacy infiltrating our schools and institutions but also organically created a loyal following for the account. The creator of the Twitter account was also a normal person, with a normal job, who wanted to remain anonymous for fear of being canceled by leftist lunatics. Ms. Lorenz outed the creator of Libs of TikTok literally weeks after giving an interview where she complained about her own personal information being leaked online.

The Libs of TikTok channel became a target, not because of its views, but because it publicized what leftists really think.

The left only wants the vulnerable to see its messaging, not people with strongly held convictions. Exposure creates opposition. That is why the channel must be shut down.

Canceling used to silence people. So did calling people racists. What is beginning to happen is polite people are beginning to realize that they no longer live in polite society. Normal people realize that they must fight for their values or lose them. Instead of abandoning people who are being attacked by the left, they now rally to them.

There is an entirely alternate economic ecosystem beginning to emerge. The Daily Wire started a razor company because its woke sponsor disparaged their views and are also building a childre’s channel to combat the Disney craziness. The Babylon Bee has thrown its support behind the Libs of TikTok creator.

The left can only flourish unopposed. One silver lining of the pandemic is that it has exposed how our institutions have become saturated with an ideology that does not represent a majority of Americans. That majority is now fighting back.
