Trump Campaign Video Unveils Plan To Shut Down ‘Biden Border Crisis’

Former President Donald Trump — who recently announced his 2024 presidential campaign — has unveiled a plan to shut down the “Biden border crisis,” which includes a permanent ban on American taxpayer dollars funding the release of illegal aliens into the United States.

In a video released by the Trump campaign, the Republican presidential candidate condemned the massive influx of illegal aliens throughout the first two years of President Joe Biden’s time in office — calling it an “invasion.”

“Far more illegal immigrants have entered the United States in the last two years than in any time in American history and by a massive margin. We’ve never seen anything like it. Our country is under invasion,” Trump said in the video.

He went on to argue that the open southern border is not caused by a lack of resources, but instead by the actions of Biden.

“Our border is not open because of insufficient resources or legal authorities,” Trump said. “Our border is now open because Joe Biden has ordered it to be open and because Biden has broken the law and torn it to shreds. He has shredded our system and he’s destroying our country. Biden had inherited a flawless deportation system that was working like never before in our history. We never did so well on the border as we were doing just a short time ago under the Trump administration.”

Trump then discussed necessary reforms, asserting that there should be criminal penalties for members of government who violate his proposed ban on the use of taxpayer dollars for releasing illegal aliens into the U.S.

“The most important reform needed right now is a total ban on Biden using taxpayer dollars to free illegal aliens and criminal penalties for administrative, noncompliance, which happens every single minute of every single day,” he said.

The former president also stated that Congress should make all border security policies implemented under the Trump administration permanent in federal law.

One such Trump-era policy, Title 42, which allowed the quick deportation of illegal aliens at the southern border on the grounds of preventing the spread of COVID, successfully expelled 2.5 million illegal aliens while in place. That policy was set to expire on Wednesday, but Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts issued an administrative stay halting the lower court ruling that would have ended the policy.

Meanwhile, a recent poll showed that 54% of all Americans describe the situation at the southern border under the Biden administration as an “invasion.”
