Trump Claims Iran Closer to Nukes Thanks to Biden Admin, ‘Might Have One Now’

In a speech to young conservatives at the Turning Point Action Summit, former President Donald Trump warned that Iran’s rogue regime is currently closer than ever to having a nuclear weapon — if they don’t already have one — thanks to the Biden administration.

During his speech at the event in Tampa, Florida, Trump called out President Joe Biden for making America less safe, specifically pointing to enemies of the United States such as Iran and China.

“And now, you read the papers, they have all of the enriched materials they need,” the former president said of Iran. “They can have nuclear weapons in a very short period of time. I’m talking about a matter of months or less. They might have one now.”

Trump went on to warn that a nuclear Iran would have an even more negative effect on the world than what “radical left Democrats” have already done to “destroy our country.”

“Once they have that, it’s a whole different game,” he warned regarding a nuclear Iran. “It’s a terrible thing that’s happened to our country. Our country has never been in a position like this.”

The former president asserted that all of these problems stemmed from the “rigged” election in 2020 that put Biden into the White House, stating: “The election was stolen, it was rigged, and now our country is being destroyed, systematically destroyed.”

While he was in the White House, Trump decertified the Obama-era Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action — otherwise known as the Iran nuclear deal — in response to intelligence suggesting that Iran was not abiding by the agreement, in which former President Barack Obama had allegedly paid the terrorist nation $400 million to slow their plan to become a world nuclear power.

“Despite the great outside dangers, our biggest threat remains the sick and sinister and ever evil people from within our country,” the former president said, citing “shifty” Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Speaker of the House “crazy” Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA).

“They’re sick; they want to damage me in any form so I can no longer represent you,” Trump added. “Obviously, they want me to not be the candidate.”

The former president also called out the Democrats for trying to stop him from talking about another run for the presidency in 2024.

“There’s no chance I do that; there’s just no chance I do that; I can’t do that,” Trump said. “Because I love you and I love this country. We can’t let this happen. They’re coming after me because I am standing up for you. That’s why they’re coming after me, and because you’re a force.”

Concluding his speech, the former president attacked the Biden administration for their “destruction” of the country, calling the government out for allowing our adversaries to gain power and strength while making the U.S. weaker.

“We are a nation that is allowing Iran to build a massive nuclear weapon, which they will, incredibly, be allowed to bring forward very, very soon,” Trump said. “And, right now, China is using the trillions of dollars it has taken from us over many, many years to build a military that will out-rival our own.”

“And just two years ago we had Iran, China, Russia, and North Korea in check,” he added. “They weren’t going to do a thing against us and everyone knew it, because you know what? They respected your leader and they respected your country.”

“And perhaps most importantly, we are a nation that is no longer respected or listened to around the world. We are a nation that in many ways has become a joke. And we are a nation that is hostile to liberty, freedom, and to faith,” Trump concluded.
