Donald Trump Jr. has launched a fierce attack on Vice President Kamala Harris, accusing her and the Democratic Party of deliberately failing to secure the southern border to influence the upcoming elections. In an op-ed for Fox News, Trump Jr. argued that the Democrats’ lax border policies undermine American democracy.
Trump Jr. criticized Harris’s performance as the administration’s “border czar,” claiming she has failed to address the border crisis effectively. “Led by Vice President Kamala Harris, they have undermined our country at every turn, welcomed the invasion at the border and encouraged non-citizens to cancel the voice of Americans,” he wrote.
He highlighted Harris’s minimal engagement with border enforcement, noting that she has only visited the border once and has not spoken to the Border Patrol chief. Under Harris’s watch, more than 40% of released migrants have disappeared, according to Trump Jr., who also pointed out that nearly 10 million illegal entries have occurred since President Joe Biden took office.
At a rally in Georgia, former President Donald Trump echoed his son’s concerns, blaming Harris for the deaths of Americans at the hands of illegal immigrants. He cited the case of Laken Riley, claiming Harris’s policies allowed the murderer to remain in the country.
Trump Jr. also emphasized the importance of election integrity, supporting the Safeguard American Voter Eligibility (SAVE) Act introduced by Texas Rep. Chip Roy (R). The bill aims to prevent illegal aliens from registering to vote by requiring proof of citizenship and expanding state access to federal databases.
He described current laws as insufficient and called for stronger measures to ensure election security. He highlighted legal battles in states like Vermont, Arizona, North Carolina, and New York City to keep non-citizens from voting. “Democrats have a clear plan: allow law-breaking illegal aliens to overrun the border and remove barriers to the ballot box,” he asserted, encouraging volunteers to join Protect The Vote to combat election interference.
