Hegseth’s lawyer, Timothy Parlatore, emphasized that the Monterey Police Department found no merit in the claim and that it had been cleared from any legal wrongdoing. Yet, these outlets continue to present it as a credible issue, conveniently ignoring the thorough investigation that cleared Hegseth.
