Former Biden Chief Of Staff Goes On Obscenity-Laced Rant Against President

Former White House chief of staff Ron Klain was caught on tape going on an obscenity-laced rant against his former boss, President Joe Biden.

According to a recording of the rant obtained by Politico, Klain slammed Biden’s political strategy heading into the 2024 presidential election — pointing out that the president has focused a lot of his public appearances on infrastructure-related issues when the average American is more concerned about skyrocketing inflation that has made buying essential goods difficult.

Klain, who left the White House last year and was hired as chief legal officer at Airbnb, made these comments during an event hosted by the leftist publication “Democracy: A Journal of Ideas.”

“I think the president is out there too much talking about bridges,” Klain said during the Tuesday evening event. “He does two or three events a week where he’s cutting a ribbon on a bridge. And here’s a bridge. Like I tell you, if you go into the grocery store, you go to the grocery store and, you know, eggs and milk are expensive, the fact that there’s a f—ing bridge is not [inaudible].”

The former chief of staff acknowledged that Biden’s infrastructure push is a “positive thing,” but argued that the president should not focus heavily on the issue because there are more important problems that Americans are facing right now.

“He’s not a congressman. He’s not running for Congress,” Klain later added. “I think it’s kind of a fool’s errand. I think that [it] also doesn’t get covered that much because, look, it’s a f—ing bridge. Like it’s a bridge, and how interesting is the bridge? It’s a little interesting but it’s not a lot interesting.”

Data from the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ CPI Inflation Calculator shows that, since January 2021 when Biden took office, the U.S. inflation rate has increased by nearly 20%.

Meanwhile, Biden and his administration officials have continued to focus on highlighting the 2021 bipartisan infrastructure deal in nearly every one of the president’s events — as it was a major victory for the White House.

However, this supposed “success” is not something that Americans care about heading into the 2024 election, as polling shows that immigration, inflation and the economy are key issues that the average American is concerned about. If Biden has any chance of winning reelection, his former chief of staff is correct — he should be focusing on making everyday life better for the American people.
