Seven male illegal immigrants have been arrested in the Bronx, New York, after a citywide crime wave that included stealing cell phones and wallets from at least 62 unsuspecting women, according to CBS News.
Police said the illegal immigrants are from Venezuela. As of yet, there are no reports on when they arrived in New York City, according to OAN.
Unsuspecting victims, predominantly women, were ambushed by the robbers on mopeds and scooters and stole cell phones and purses.
The phones were allegedly stolen so the perpetrators could gain access to Apple Pay or Cash App money applications. Then the robbers could use the apps to make purchases with credit cards or bank-connected phones.
The perpetrators were apprehended after a search warrant was obtained for what NYC police thought to be a “safe house near the Bronx,” according to OAN.
It is expected the illegal immigrants will be charged with several counts of robbery and grand larceny.
Police are still searching for other suspects who may have been involved in the operation.

NYPD Assistant Commissioner Kaz Daughtry posted, “Today we made tremendous progress in the largest robbery pattern plaguing our city.”
“Our message is simple,” Daughtry continued, “commit a crime in our city and we will find you and bring you to justice!”
Most migrants come to NYC in search of a better life. Sadly, some come to commit crimes.

That’s tough talk, but it’s not realistic.
According to the New York Post, as of Aug. 2023, the Biden administration’s insane immigration policies were allowing over 10,000 migrants into NYC a month. That’s 120,000 immigrants per year.
Not only do the illegals come demanding food, shelter and other services, but a portion of them are almost certainly criminally minded.
If even 1% of the migrants are inclined toward criminal behavior, that’s 1200 potential habitual offenders in NYC alone.
Good for the NYPD in catching seven of the criminals. From the looks of things, however, it really does look like just the tip of the iceberg.
