Prior to her disappearance, Scott, a nursing home worker, informed family and friends about the harassing phone calls. She left her family’s residence on the 8300 block of Rodney Street in East Mount Airy at approximately 9:45 p.m. to begin her overnight shift at The Terrace at Chestnut Hill nursing facility.

Philadelphia Police Captain John Craig stated that Scott has shown no cellphone activity or social media presence since October 4, which is considered uncharacteristic for her. This digital silence, combined with the reported pre-disappearance harassment, has led investigators to consider foul play.

Police recovered Scott’s vehicle from the nursing home parking lot, but the car has not provided significant leads. Investigators are currently reviewing surveillance footage in the Chestnut Hill area and analyzing Scott’s digital communications for potential clues about the harassers. Interviews with coworkers, friends, and family members have not yet identified any suspects or a motive for the threatening calls.

Scott’s family is actively involved in the search, distributing flyers and making public appeals for information. They have described her disappearance as inconsistent with her typical behavior, noting her regular contact with loved ones.
